well this post is mostly for paul but others will think it is funny so here it goes
A Symphony was preforming Beethovens 9th symphony and things were getting a bit crazy. In the 4th movement, the lead violin tied the conductor's music to his stand. Meanwhile, the basses had been sneaking shots of whiskey through the whole performance and were completly plastered by this point. The bass trombone player looks up from his latest issue of Feild and Stream to ask his neighbor what in the world was going on. The guy turns to him and says "Well, it's the bottem of the 9th, the bases are loaded and the score is tied."
